JYP Entertainment reportedly preparing to debut 3 more groups following ITZY

JYP Entertainment has plans to debut multiple groups.

According to Business Post on January 22, JYP Entertainment has plans to debut a total of 5 groups in 2 years. The first was Stray Kids in 2017. Next is the impending girl group ITZY, who is reportedly debuting in mid-February. Then 3 more groups will debut following ITZY. 

Financial researcher Lee Ki Hoon commented, "This year, there will be fiery competition among boy groups with Big Hit Entertainment and YG Entertainment both debuting new teams." On the contrary, "The competition in girl groups won't be as competitive. As a result, the new JYP Entertainment girl group will be at the center of attention."
