BTS sets new Gaon Chart record by selling over 2 million copies of 'Love Yourself - Answer'

BTS has made a new record on Gaon Chart with album sales. 

According to Gaon's yearly album chart, a total of 2,197,808 copies of 'Love Yourself - Answer' were sold since the album's release in August 2018. This makes the album as the fasted-selling single record in Gaon history, breaking BTS' previous record with 'Love Yourself: Her's selling rate with a resulting number of 1,493,443 copies.

Regardless of selling rate, 'Love Yourself: Tear' came in 2nd in terms of the highest number of album sales, with a total of 1,849,537 copies sold. In sum, BTS has sold 5,874,208 copies of albums with three installments of 'Love Yourself' series from September 2017 to December 2018 .
