Golden Child's Joochan to halt promotions temporarily following knee injury

On December 28, Golden Child's label Woollim Entertainment told media outlets,

"Thank you to the fans of Golden Child for their continued love, and we would like to notify you of member Joochan's temporary hiatus from official activities.

Joochan recently twisted his left leg during choreography practice, and after visiting a hospital, he is currently receiving treatment for a knee ligament injury while resting. 

After discussing the matter with Joochan, his family, and professional opinion, we came to this ultimate decision considering the artist's health our top most priority. 

As a result, Joochan will unavoidably be absent from all of his schedules for upcoming year-end activities as well as all official schedules, and he will focus on treatment and recovery per doctor's advisory. 

We ask for you understanding. Thank you."
