April's agency DSP Media has confirmed Naeun has been cast as the female lead in the upcoming SBS drama 'Hip-Hop King: Naseuna Street' (literal title).
The drama revolves around hip-hop music and the culture that is developing around it. The lead characters will not only be showing their acting talents, but their rapping skills as well.
Former INFINITE member Hoya, Cross Gene's Shin, and model Han Hyun Min are also set to star in the drama. It will also be directed by Lee Joon Hyung, who is famous for directing music videos for Bobby Kim, Yoon Mirae, and Seo Sikyung, as well as dramas 'Bachelor's Vegetable Store' and 'God's Quiz Season 1'.
'Hip-Hop King: Naseuna Street' is set to air sometime in the first half of 2019.
