MAMAMOO has taken legal action against malicious commenters.
According to Hankook Ilbo's exclusive report on October 8, MAMAMOO officially filed a lawsuit against 4 netizens for defamation of character back on the 4th. Moonbyul is scheduled to attend police investigation for the case in mid-October.
The 4 netizens have been leaving malicious comments about MAMAMOO on Twitter and other social media platforms from September 20, 2016 to August 2018. The netizens have spread rumors about MAMAMOO members being lesbians and also stated, "They sell their bodies."
Back on August 31, RBW Entertainment officially announced their plans to take legal action against malicious commenters.
The police stated, "The personal information of the netizens is not revealed yet. We plan to identify them after questioning with the plaintiff."
