Fans are angry at a duo from Kazakhstan for blatantly plagiarizing WINNER's 'Island'

Melart is receiving backlash for plagiarism. 

Recently, the duo from Kazakhstan shared an audio snippet of their new song titled "Sweet Girl". Many aspects of the track including the intro, melody, and more sound greatly similar to WINNER's song "Island". 

"Island" from WINNER's 2nd single album 'Our Twenty For' was released back in August 2017. 


Fans angered by the plagiarism and asking YG Entertainment to take action. Comments stated, "This is clearly WINNER's song", "This is stealing", "This is copyrighted property of the group WINNER and YG Entertainment", "Stop plagiarising!!", "This needs to be reported."
