Shaun spoke out about the sajaegi controversy for the first time.
The September 4 airing of SBS' 'One Night of TV Entertainment' included an exclusive interview with Shaun. This is the first time the singer has officially engaged in an interview about the ongoing sajaegi controversy on his song "Way Back Home".
First, Shaun explained he couldn't participate in interviews with any media outlets up until now because he didn't have specific plans on how to proceed with the issue.
Shaun emphasized that he did not engage in sajaegi. He shared even his close peers became suspicious and asked if his agency did sajaegi without him knowing. Shaun claimed innocence for his agency and himself, and once again emphasized there was no sajaegi whatsoever.
Shaun said, "I'm confident," and also shared he's been suffering from anxiety disorder and hyperventilation since the controversy.
