On this episode, the cast members including Kang Ho Dong, Yoo Byung Jae, Kim Jong Min, Kim Dong Hyun, Super Junior's Shindong, and Block B's P.O. got to the bottom of a mysterious high school run by a cult, escaping each floor of the school and solving various puzzles in order to rescue innocent high school students from being sacrificed by the cult members, the school's teachers. 

This marks the end of 'Great Escape' season 1, at a total of 12 schedules episodes. Next week on September 23, tvN will be airing a special episode featuring behind-the-scenes coverage from the series. 

Viewers are heartbroken at the thought of no more 'Great Escape' episodes coming up on Sundays. Netizens are pleading for season 2 asap, commenting, "Please please have season 2, I did everything I could paying for each rerun episode to help TT", "It's the last episode of 'Great Escape'... I'm crying...", "I'm so sad and disappointed that it's ending... Every Sunday has been so joyful and I laughed so hard even during the last episode TT I'll be waiting for season 2 while watching 'New Journey To The West'", "In the first episode, I was worried that those cast members wouldn't be able to solve any of the puzzles and it was frustrating watching their process, but as the episodes went on everyone started forming their roles and it made me realize that this cast was well formed.
