On September 19th, JYP Entertainment closed the cap as an entertainment company with a total value of1.277 trillion KRW (~1.14 Billion USD). This value has broken the record set by SM Entertainment back in 2012, which had totaled a sum of 1.262 trillion KRW (1.13 Billion USD).
Of the big 3 companies (SM, YG, JYP), JYP Entertainment had risen to the 2nd biggest agency in January, as TWICE and GOT7's comebacks and concerts garnered much success. From early 2017, JYP Entertainment's stock prices also blew up 5 times since then, a rate which continues to grow steadily.
Prospective financial success of JYP Entertainment in 2019 also appears to be favorable, as TWICE have alsoannounced a Dome tour in Japan. In addition, Stray Kids' successful debut has been beneficial to the company, propelling more initiatives to launch a Chinese boy group Boy Story as well as an all-Japanese member group (soon to be announced).
