"When I made my debut, I thought I would definitely spend ten years in this line of work," the idol admitted. "However, I knew that working [in this industry] for ten years was not an easy or reasonable feat."

He also recalled a time during the group's earliest years where his fans would tease him for not being very good on variety programs.

"I tried too hard to do well on variety shows," he explained. "I was like that ten years ago, and even now, I really want to do well. Even if I've messed up, I've never done anything that horrible. Those days, I had a lot of ambition. If I hadn't, it doesn't seem like I would have been able to be active as a singer for as long as I have."
