Big Hit Entertainment reveals the special request Nicki Minaj made for her version of 'IDOL' MV

Big Hit Entertainment shared a story behind BTS' "IDOL" MV featuring Nicki Minaj. 

On September 6, BTS released a special version of the "IDOL" MV featuring the American pop star. 




Nicki makes a short yet impactful appearance with bright yellow hair and a vibrant outfit. Regarding her scenes in the MV, Big Hit Entertainment revealed, "Nicki Minaj pitched the idea of showing her rap lyrics in Korean, so we put the Korean romanization of her English rap in a subtitle format."






The appearance of Hangul in the viral MV is making many Koreans proud. Comments stated, "The power of BTS", "BTS the best boy group ever", "They're amazing", "Representing Korea."
