The photographer of Yang Ye Won's controversial nude photos has been arrested.
On June 28, an arrest warrant was issued for the 45-year-old photographer with the last name Choi, as the police worried that he might flee. Choi was ultimately arrested on July 2. The police state the investigation will continue after Choi's arrest.
Choi is accused of taking Yang Ye Won's nude photos and sexually harassing her during the photo shoot.
According to the police, they have obtained a confession and evidence of Choi taking Yang Ye Won's nude photos in 2015. Based on the digital data and film angle, the police also suspect that Choi is the first person who spread the photos online. However, Choi is denying the accusation, stating, "It's true that I've taken the photos but I have lost the memory chip that contained the images."
Meanwhile, the police plan to also arrest the director of the studio for further investigation. In May, the studio director countersued Yang Ye Won for false allegations.
