Actor Song Kang said that he rejected offers from many idol group agencies.
In a recent interview with 'Star1', Song Kang discussed his current thoughts on becoming a true actor.
"I have been asked to be an idol, but I focused on studying up on acting because that was my dream," said Song Kang. The actor said that he was 20 years old when he first wanted to act. Although his initial inspirations came from Leonardo DiCaprio, Ji Sung's acting in 'Kill Me Heal Me' was a reference point for Song Kang.
After his appearances in 'The Liar and His Lover and 'Man In The Kitchen', Song Kang was appointed as MC of 'Inkigayo', which he confessed is quite different from acting. "We don't look into the camera when we act," said Song Kang. "That's why at first it felt awkward to talk directly into the camera. I am a lot more familiar with it now."
