Former YG artist Katie Kim to make her official debut under startup agency AXIS

Katie Kim is finally making her debut.

On May 29, reports stated that Katie Kim is preparing for her debut with the album 'The Birth of Katie' under a new startup agency AXIS. The company is reportedly founded by a former creative director of YG Entertainment and she'll be promoting with only her first name Katie from now on. 

Prior to this, Katie revealed she has left YG Entertainment -  causing an uproar on online communities regarding the agency's maltreatment of audition show winners. In response, Yang Hyun Suk explained his side on the issue in an interview. 

Meanwhile, Katie is expected to release various teasers for her long-awaited debut. Stay tuned for more info.
