Comedian Park Na Rae has donated 20 million Won ($18,557 USD) for young patients in need.
On May 9, an insider revealed Park Na Rae had donated 20 million Won to the Severance Hospital in Seoul for ill children whose parents can't afford treatment fees. Though she donated quietly, those who were touched by her generosity spread the word. The comedian participated in the 'Fib Day' event at the hospital last March, and it seems the experience left an impression on her.
A rep from the hospital stated, "Park Na Rae carefully called to let us know she wanted to donate. Last year, she participated in the 'Fib Day' event, and she was touched by the patients she met at the time. She's someone who gives a lot of laughter to people, so she probably wanted to give patients, especially young ones, a chance to smile."
How generous!
