TWICE is getting criticized for their recent live performance.
On the April 26 episode of Mnet's 'M Countdown', TWICE took 1st place with "What is Love?". As always, the winner stayed on stage for an encore performance.
The encore stages tend to be more relaxed and casual. Netizens understand this is not the main performance but TWICE is receiving criticism because they didn't do much singing at all and when they did, netizens claim they sounded rather terrible.
Netizens pointed out how Jihyo and Nayeon seem to be the only members singing. It's also claimed that Sana seems to be avoiding the mic on purpose.
Comments stated, "They are an idol group receiving much love from the public but they have no talent as vocalists. Even the main vocal Jihyo is risky", "I thought that maybe other groups (fandoms) are jealous of TWICE since they're popular but after listening to this, I admit they're seriously bad", "They're so bad. Wtf, how are they singers?", and more.
This is not the first time TWICE received criticism for their singing abilities. Back in April 2016, the issue of TWICE being "awful singers" took over online communities.
