Soyu shared how SISTAR was able to receive their first paycheck relatively fast. 
On the April 5 airing of MBN variety show 'Do You Want to Rest Today?', Soyu revealed that SISTAR was able to get their first paycheck after just 9 months since debut.
She said, "As a girl group, you end up building a debt since your trainee days. But SISTAR got their first paycheck relatively fast after 9 months since debut."

Soyu shared how this was possible, saying, "Our members did not have cosmetic surgery, we lived in a one-room dorm, and our diet was majorly chicken breast."
Hearing this, Kim Sook surprisingly said, "I didn't know the cosmetic surgery costs are deducted out of the first paycheck."
