F.T. Island's Hongki will be on 'Produce 48'.
According to reports on April 5, the idol has confirmed his appearance on the new 'Produce' season. There's no confirmation on what role he'll take - there's a chance that he might be a vocal trainer, or there's a chance that he'll be the MC for the new season.

Whatever his role is, he's been chosen to participate because he is well known in both Korea and Japan, and because he can speak Japanese fluently.
