F.T. Island's Hongki has been confirmed as a vocal trainer on Mnet's 'Produce 48'.

Previous reports revealed he'll be appearing on the show, and on April 5, FNC Entertainment confirmed, "It's true Hongki is appearing on 'Produce 48' as a vocal trainer." As the aim of the new 'Produce' show is to debut a girl group, fans are already curious how the F.T. Island vocalist will teach the trainees and if he'll be focusing on rock vocal techniques.
As previously reported, 'Produce 48' is a female trainee survival show bringing together both Korean and Japanese idol trainees in partnership with Japan's AKB48 girl group. Ahn Joon Young PD of 'Produce 101' season 1 & 2 is in charge of productions yet again.
It's expected to premiere in June.
