Just before releasing his much-anticipated mixtape, j-hope commented from within the studio, "I am currently working hard so please look forward to it and continue to cheer me on," and thanked fans for their support.

He continued, "It took me more than a year to come this far. I seriously put in a lot of time and effort for this project. Thank you so much, everyone, and love you all. Seeing all of the comments makes me realize so many people are rooting for me. I make music thanks to you all."
In regards to his new MV 'Daydream', j-hope mentioned, "A fellow BTS member appears in my mixtape music video. Please look for him and guess which scene he's in," and encouraged fans to look for the particular idol star's cameo appearance.
Lastly, j-hope commented that he'll continue to work hard to complete perfection. Marking the third BTS member to release a mixtape trailing behind RM and SUGA, j-hope's 'Hope World' consists of 7 tracks in total.
