Billboard ad for NU'EST's Baekho gets removed due to his ongoing sexual assault investigation

Baekho
A billboard ad for NU'EST's Baekho (Kang Dong Ho) has been removed.

On February 27, a billboard ad for Baekho was put up at Apgujeong Station. The billboard showed a photo of the idol star and congratulated him on his 6th debut anniversary.

Unfortunately, the loveful billboard ad dedicated to Baekho by his fans had to be put down the next day.

According to Seoul Metro, the billboard failed to pass the ad qualification standards, as it was deemed inappropriate to put up an ad for Baekho who's currently being investigated for sexual assault.

In June 2017, an alleged victim revealed that she was sexually assaulted by Baekho in the past.

As the billboard ad was named unqualified, it should not have been put up in the first place. Regarding this, Seoul Metro commented, "We have carelessly proceeded on with the installment because we assumed it would pass the ad qualification standards." However, "We took it down right away after realizing (it has not passed)."
