The women's ice hockey match took place inside Gangneung Hockey Centre where Kwanghee made a sudden appearance prior to the preliminary round between unified Korea and Japan.
The idol singer acted as special MC dressed in his hanbok with Lunar New Year just around the corner and appeared on national television, beaming as usual.

He threw in casual comments and asked viewers to cheer for Korea. Kwanghee also had the opportunity to watch the sports game between the neighboring countries, donning a buzz cut.
Currently enlisted in the army, it seems Kwanghee will be volunteering at the Winter Games.
A representative from his agency revealed, "Kwanghee decided to head out early towards Pyeongchang as he will be MCing various events with 2PM's Taecyeon on February 17."
And added, "He was urgently dispatched from his military base and rushed out to the hockey arena."
Well, that's another reason to tune into the Olympics!
