The drama is based off of a webtoon series of the same name, and follows a passionate student who gives up her cleanliness to devote herself to finding a full-time job. She then meets the young, flower boy CEO of a cleaning company. The female student Gil Oh Sol will be played by Kim Yoo Jung, the cleaning company CEO Jang Sun Gyeol will be portrayed by Ahn Hyo Seop, and second male lead actor Song Jae Rim will be in the role of a mystery love rival, Choi Goon.
Other cast members of 'First, Clean Passionately' include Dohee, Kim Won Hae, Kim Min Gyu, Hak Jin, Cha In Ha, and more, with special appearances by Kwak Si Yang and Woo Hyun. The drama is set to air after currently airing series 'Welcome to Waikiki', some time in April.
