As much as '1987' was a politically charged film, many people around him had been worried. Naturally, getting involved in such a work would sometimes makes things too complicated. However, Kang Dong Won shared that his biggest goal was to be an actor that� "gives laughter and consolation to the audiences," no matter how big the political risks are.
