Samuel shared through his label after the ceremony, "I would like to truly thank the '2017 Yahoo Asia Buzz Awards' for giving me a chance to attend this special event, as well as for giving me such a meaningful award. I was able to receive this award thanks to my fanclub Garnet, my company staff, my family, and the company president. I will become a singer who works hard humbly so that I can receive more love."
