The December 12 broadcast of SBS' 'One Night of TV Entertainment' covered the special (and quite costly!) birthday gift Kang Daniel received from his loving fans.
In celebration of the Wanna One member's 21st birthday on December 10, fans took over billboard ads in Times Square, NYC. According to the advertiser who created the footage, "Fans wanted to deliver encouragement as the birthday gift. About 300 fans came together for it." Another associate commented, "The ads for Kang Daniel was located at a very good spot in the south end (part of Times Square)."
As for the cost of the ads, the associate stated, "The value changes a lot, but for one day, it's around 3000 - 5000 USD per day." Kang Daniel's Times Square birthday ad was up for a total of 7 days.

The associate also shared that birthday ads are very rare at Times Square.
