Recently, the idol was targeted with criticism after saying he'll beat up his fans if they turn their backs. In response to the criticism, Noh Tae Hyun officially apologized. Several days later, he apologized once again. This time, with a handwritten letter on the group's official fan cafe.

Noh Tae Hyun stated,
"Hello, This is JBJ's Noh Tae Hyun.
This is the second time since the showcase that I'm writing a handwritten letter to fans. First of all, I want to deliver my apology once again to the fans who were hurt by my immature actions. It's a group created by the fans and I was gratefully given the big role of a leader, however, I've disappointed my members, many who've trusted in me, and most importantly my fans with my immature acts. I can't turn back my actions or fans' feelings with this letter but I'll take this incident as a lesson and remember in my heart the more proper way of expressing my gratefulness, and show a more mature self. I'm sorry I was so late. I'm sorry and grateful... Again, thank you!"
