Only a couple days ago, Mnet removed a lot of votes for many artists after the voter fraud inspection for the upcoming '2017 MAMA'. After the inspection, many artists took a huge hit in terms of vote counts, including BTS. For example, in the 'Best Male Group' category, BTS lost approximately 1 million votes and in the 'Best Music Video' category, they lost over 1.6 million votes. After witnessing the huge decrease in numbers, ARMY took to Twitter in order to receive some form of an explanation from Mnet.
Whilst, no official statement has been released by Mnet currently, fans are continuing to push for any kind of clarification on the matter and are clearly frustrated by the conundrum.
mnet, we voted for bts. but u deleted our votes. we trend hashtag for an explanation. you blocked our hashtag. smth is wrong #STAND_BY_BTS— fairy boy (@jiminitized) November 5, 2017
we're trending WW, decreasing the gaps, exposing mnet and standing up for bts all at once.— i stan seven kings (@todayarmyfights) November 5, 2017
conclusion: don't mess with us.
What do you think of the situation?
