Siwon's real reason for not attending the Japanese fan meeting will be because of drama recording.
There had been speculation that the reason for Siwon's absence at the 'ELF-Japan Festival 2017 ~Super Sports Day~' was due to recent controversy surrounding his family dog Bugsy. However, his label clarified that it instead because of drama filming for 'Revolutionary Love'.

Previously, Siwon's family dog had bitten a neighbor, which allegedly caused her death 4 days later. Siwon's dog was known to bite people, and the family of the deceased has stated that they will leave the fate of the dog up to the family.
