Heechul explains what his post about Super Junior promotions really meant

Fans were highly excited for Super Junior's long-awaited comeback, however, they became concerned after Heechul suddenly announced he won't be able to participate in the group's promotions as normally. Then things turned confusing when SJ Label denied Heechul's claims and stated Heechul will be fully participating in Super Junior's promotions.

In an exclusive interview with Star News, Heechul cleared up the confusion and explained what his viral post actually meant.

Heechul stated, "I've received a lot of calls after I posted that on social media. To be honest, I didn't mean to say that I won't be going on stage. My ankle is not in good condition due to the car accident in 2006. I've actually mentioned the pain in my leg several times on 'Taxi' and other variety shows. Shindong and Eunhyuk created the choreography for Super Junior's new song and they've shown concerns and took my condition into consideration (when coming up with the choreography)."

He continued, "Members told me not to worry about it and it'll be okay for me to just stand on stage, so I was always sorry to my members. I think I've just become worried about a lot of things with our comeback ahead."

Lastly, he added, "I have a cold now but I'll work my best on broadcast, as well as for Super Junior's promotions."

Super Junior is scheduled to release a new album on November 6.
