On September 22, FNC Entertainment confirmed F.T. Island Minhwan's relationship with Yulhee. Yulhee's side also provided an official statement and apologized for the sudden dating news.

Global H Media stated, "After checking, it's confirmed the two people are in a relationship. We apologize for causing concerns with the sudden news." The label also provided details on Yulhee's whereabouts, and said, ''Tomorrow, Yulhee plans to attend LABOUM's first showcase in Japan. She'll be departing tomorrow morning."
Prior to the confirmation, dating rumors circulated after Yulhee mistakenly uploaded photos of her and her boyfriend. The post was immediately deleted, however, many netizens got a hold of the screenshot, which rapidly spread across the web.
