Koyote's Shinji openly talked about undergoing cosmetic surgeries on the September 12 airing of '1 vs 100'. 
The singer mentioned her title of 'the first female celebrity to admit undergoing cosmetic surgery', and explained, "After Kyote's promotions for the 1st album, I underwent double eyelid surgery during promotions for the 2nd album. My label booked schedules even before my swelling calmed down. Anyone could just tell that I've undergone double eyelid surgery so I didn't want to say that I didn't do it."

She continued, "It wasn't coverable with makeup and my eyes were wide open. I didn't want to lie so I confessed undergoing double eyelid surgery on a broadcast."
The co-ed group Koyote made their debut in 1998 with ''Genuine''.
