Channel A's upcoming variety show 'We're Also National Athletes' has revealed its lineup!
On the variety special, idols and other celebs will try their hand at short track speed skating, a top winter sport in South Korea. Lee Soo Geun is taking the reins as the host, and Girls' Generation's Sunny and Hyoyeon, Kangnam, and 2AM's Jinwoon will act as co-hosts.
Leading the skate teams are Tony An and Son Ho Young, while the competitors include Sam Okyere, Takada Kenta, TEEN TOP's Ricky, Berry Good's Johyun, U-KISS' Eli, model Lee Ho Yeon, HALO's OOON, and Kriesha Chu. For 3 weeks, the stars will go through intensive training in order to compete in a final 500 meter race and relay race on August 29.
Johyun, who previously competed in short track, commented, "It feels like this is a program for me. It's like a dream."
'We're Also National Athletes' will air in September as a way to amp viewers up for the '2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics'.
