Hoya's past interview about his bronchial health regains attention following his departure from INFINITE

In light of Hoya's departure from the group, the idol's past interview during a press conference for film 'Heeya' has regained attention. He shared at the press conference, "I went in and out of the emergency room often when I was a child because of my very weak bronchus... Before I debuted, I went to the doctor to have my bronchus checked, and they advised that singing would be difficult. The doctor suggested the possibility of giving up on a career as a singer." 

During his promotions within INFINITE, Hoya was also known to have injured his ankles on several occasions, hindering him from performing and dancing. 

Both media reports and fans suspect that after INFINITE, Hoya may switch his career to acting full-throttle. The idol is known for his roles in 'Reply 1977', 'Mask', 'Glowing Office', and more.
