A.C.E name Rain as the reason they became singers + talk about their JYP and YG trainee days

During their first ever photoshoot, A.C.E was asked about why they chose the singing profession. Leader Jun answered, "When I was in junior high school, I happened to come across�Rain's 'Rainism', and I was in total shock. That led me to become a singer."�Member Jason�revealed he had the same reaction and asked his father if he could attend a dance academy afterward.

Jason also revealed he had been a JYP trainee. "I tried out for the JYP audition and made first place. I was training under the agency for a while when fellow juniors started coming in," and stated that he left shortly afterward.

Member Wow added that he auditioned for YG Entertainment. "I auditioned in front of Yang Hyun Suk at YG Entertainment. I got in at one shot. Since I made it in so easily, I didn't really feel desperation or passion at the time. I think I stayed there for about a year. Who knows? If I had stayed longer, I could've been a WINNER member."
