A segment on the July 18 installment of�SBS' 'One Night of Entertainment' featured the PD of survival program 'Laws of the Jungle' opening up about Kangnam and UEE's relationship.
The two stars became close after appearing on the show together. The PD mentioned, "After their dating news broke out, I've spoken with both Kangnam and UEE. I said, 'I went to go pick you up for work but you returned with a date instead.' In a joking manner, Kangnam said thank you via text message."

The PD continued, "One has to go through extreme situations while out in the jungle. I believe UEE saw Kangnam's true character. He is someone who is good at looking after others, and also funny and cool. There were some rough moments but they were still able to blossom in love."
