Kim Jong Kook revealed he almost quit 'Running Man' because of Kang Ho Dong.

On the July 29th episode of 'Knowing Brothers', Kim Jong Kook said, "'Knowing Brothers' is my last school," and Heechul responded, "You should quit 'Running Man'." 'Sparta' Kim Jong Kook then revealed, "I almost quit once because of someone," pointing out Kang Ho Dong.
He poked fun at Kang Ho Dong, saying, "On your way home, you should get a notification." Back in December 2016, 'Running Man' underwent some controversy for blind-siding Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo about their leave from the show.
