'Produce 101' has denied rumors of a special episode.
A media outlet had reported that a special 'Produce 101' episode will be airing on the June 23 after the final 11 are chosen on the June 16. However, Mnet clarified that the special that will be airing on the 23rd is for 'Show Me the Money 6', not for 'Produce 101'.

'Produce 101' also confirmed, "The season will end on the 16th. There are no plans for a special episode."
