Police personnel was dispatched by Seoul Gangnam's Police Station after receiving an emergency call of a death threat towards A Pink.

A broadcast affiliate revealed in an exclusive to Osen, "On June 14, around 9 pm KST about six or seven police officials rushed over to A Pink's agency (Plan A Entertainment).  It seems they were ordered to provide protection and immediately investigate the site after receiving death threat calls pertaining to A Pink."

According to the affiliate, additional security forces were also dispatched at the rehearsal studio where A Pink was residing in Seoul's Gangbuk district in case there were any further instances.

Currently, police are investigating just who may have issued the death threat call as well as further information such as background and whereabouts of the culprit.  Representatives at A Pink's agency are not responding to any phone calls at the moment after witnessing the frightening situation.

Meanwhile, the girls are scheduled for a comeback on June 26.

Stay tuned for more updates.

The CEO said Apink still in a state of shock and they were afraid . poor baby :"(

Kelly99 Wednesday, June 14, 2017

Seriously, another death threat this week to both girl group that I like very much. Hand written letter is not enough to justify the person actions toward a group of 6 members who didn't do anything wrong to them. They are celebrities whose job is to entertain us with their singing skills and song, as well as others. If that person thinks that a death threat can get attention than that is way too stupid, giving a death threat and than go to jail for it. And pls if its a public stunt, they would have come forward hours ago and they are not that stupid to do that knowing that they would go to jail for making such stupid decision. Once this person is caught, hand written letter is not enough to jusifty for what they did, they should be punish according to law. There's always a reason for law. Apink, pls stay safe and healthy.

Kurare Wednesday, June 14, 2017

What sad lives these people must live to do such a thing to a 6 girls who do nothing but sing, dance and entertain.

UKihyun Wednesday, June 14, 2017

But what I don't get is why he wouldn't just go after the root of the problem, being their entire discography? their "music" is the real villain here which should be punishable by law

_Jarhon UKihyun Thursday, June 15, 2017

Truly wish you get permabanned.

UKihyun _Jarhon Thursday, June 15, 2017

if you pray to the gods of kpop maybe apink hot pants will be granted the legal power to sue me for saying their music is a menace to society. Better pray a lot

_Jarhon UKihyun Thursday, June 15, 2017

No I just have to report you to AKP and if there's an admin with half a brain awake, they'll ban you for promoting hate speech and violence in an article about serious death threats against them. What a fucking trash your parents raised.

UKihyun _Jarhon Thursday, June 15, 2017

Hate speech and violence? Against what, a discography? The clothing item hot pants? Good luck with that.

pablo27 UKihyun Thursday, June 15, 2017

There's a lot of other things you don't get... given the quality of your comments, it's really not hard to see why.

rabeel95 Wednesday, June 14, 2017

So this is what allegedly happened. The guy who threatened Apink called the Gangnam police station saying that he is being charged by Plan A (Apinks company) (I think this may be someone who took part in hate comments towards the girls, but I'm not sure. Plan A is in the process of suing some people) He called the police saying that he is being sued and will kill Apink at 9.The girls have returned home safely but are in a state of shock. Some people need to understand that APink is very important to some of us and this news breaks our heart. So please refrain from accusations. ch0sshi (twitter account) has more updates

QueenBee21 rabeel95 Wednesday, June 14, 2017

and this is the first time they had this kind of threat. I think its okay if Plan A decides to cancel their comeback if it's for their good and safety.

rabeel95 QueenBee21 Wednesday, June 14, 2017

As of now todays schedules are cancelled and discussions are being made as to whether tomorrows schedules are cancelled. Their managers and security are with them at the dorms. We only care for their safety

Winston QueenBee21 Wednesday, June 14, 2017

i think its also shortly after TWICE's Mina had the similar death threat also, so the police cant treat it as a joke.

QueenBee21 rabeel95 Thursday, June 15, 2017

I agree. I hope they catch that psychotic guy whoever that is, as soon as possible. Thinking about the soon coming comeback, I bet they already don't get enough sleep practicing and preparing for it, then this happened. Hoping for a peaceful healthy comeback.

Shiro_Gane Wednesday, June 14, 2017

I swear kpop fans become crazier each year..nowaday they know no boundary..attacking direct on idol sns and send death treat..when i start into kpop there are crazy fans but not many as this generation..

k_kid Wednesday, June 14, 2017

Guy is probably going to get caught and later apologize with a handwritten letter saying that he didn't mean it and he was just playing around.

DumdDumdDumd k_kid Wednesday, June 14, 2017

i really don't understand this Handwritten letter culture they have. it is just a letter. it won't change the mistakes/crime they did. WEIRD

k_kid DumdDumdDumd Wednesday, June 14, 2017

They release handwritten letter because it seems more sincere and genuine.

northstars Wednesday, June 14, 2017

Might be a publicity stunt, I don't buy into these when there just happens to be a comeback slated soon.

booitsjwu northstars Wednesday, June 14, 2017

Uh, does this happen frequently? I'd understand the skepticism if this was a common occurrence but calling the police seems like a bit extreme just for publicity...

northstars booitsjwu Wednesday, June 14, 2017

There was a report about Twice/Mina so copycats do happen. However Allkpop shouldn't report these stories, they should keep them quiet, unless a actual arrest of persons making threats has been done. Then report about it.

mLYoonB northstars Wednesday, June 14, 2017

If it was just for publicity the person who made the threat shouldve just called the agency and the agency will just call the reporters. Also its allkpop dont expect them to be quiet.

Bianca19 northstars Wednesday, June 14, 2017

Excuse me but please go get your fact right.even the polices went directly to the company if that doesnt makes the threat a big problem then i dont what is. And dude the korean news such as osen etc have report this news and allkpop is there for the international fans fyi if you dont trust allkpop then why are you here in the very first place?😊

ajaergee northstars Wednesday, June 14, 2017

What the...., someone could die, and there's still have fnking ppl who's think like that?!

Kura2654 Wednesday, June 14, 2017

wht did Apink even do?

Ibrahimovic Kura2654 Wednesday, June 14, 2017

nothing.. they're just sing, dance, entertaining fans... they did nothing wrong... those a$$hole is the problem here...

xoforever_lyn Wednesday, June 14, 2017

For real...another death threat? I do not understand how some people can easily say they want to kill someone...especially to the fricking police station!!! Kpop is getting scarier and scarier every single day.

k_kid xoforever_lyn Wednesday, June 14, 2017

Kpop isn't getting scarier. These types of stuff always happened before it got popular globally. This also happens a lot in the US entertainment industry as well. That's just the way it is when you have delusional people in the world.
