Saw the cover of his EP, omg, i just hope G-dragon stays well this year, cuz it's a taboo to write one's name in red ink in korea. Anyway, congrat to GD

my king!

Ghana_Girl Monday, June 12, 2017

With little promotion, member scandal, he still made it to the top.. this shd tell you that G-dragon is incomparable.. so all those comparing bigbang with other band should stop!!! #bigbangIsMyEverything

This is just Kwon Ji Yong not Big Bang.

If he sold 700 000 albums but only earned 1 million dollars, then Allkpop is claiming that each album cost less than 1,5 USD to buy? That's not possible. An album never costs that little! Allkpop, what is the correct number here?

allexyah hiroonakamura Monday, June 12, 2017

maybe the chinese currency is weak compared to dollar...

babynoir hiroonakamura Monday, June 12, 2017

It's not physical sale. It's digital sale.

hiroonakamura babynoir Monday, June 12, 2017

does that really matter though? i mean, how many ALBUMS that are sold online costs less than 2 dollars?

AlexaJ hiroonakamura Monday, June 12, 2017

it's true that each album cost less than 1.5 USD on the QQ Music Platform--it's 10 Chinese yuan which is around 1.47 USD. This is how much digital albums usually retail for in China.

hiroonakamura AlexaJ Tuesday, June 13, 2017

wow. so basically album sales gain you almost no cash at all (Since the cost of an album is probably around 0,5 USD and then the distributor in China and the label gets the rest)... Amazing how cheap it is to buy albums in China!

hiroonakamura Monday, June 12, 2017

i thought because of THAAD that they werent allowed to sell korean albums anymore in china?

Annggeell hiroonakamura Monday, June 12, 2017

I wonder about that too...

bangeryun94 hiroonakamura Tuesday, June 13, 2017

They've relaxed their sanctions recently since President Moon was elected

gottwice bangeryun94 Tuesday, June 13, 2017

It's not physical sale. It's digital sale

hiroonakamura gottwice Tuesday, June 13, 2017

does that matter though? it's still a korean album that is sold on chinese websites

MissBBLover Monday, June 12, 2017

pinkelly Monday, June 12, 2017

hamham75 Monday, June 12, 2017
