Social media leads to a mob fight of more than 100 high schoolers

On June 12, Incheon Namdong Police Department revealed they're currently investigating 30 high schoolers from the Incheon area and others from Siheung area for a mob fight. 

Student A (16) started the fight online against the students of Siheung with aggressive social media posts with threats stating he will beat them up.

The tension on social media led to an actual fight in real life. On the 13th and 20th of last month, about 100 students gathered at an apartment playground and at a school for a fight. No students were severely injured. 

The students planned for a third mob fight on the 27th, however, the brawl was prevented by the police who received an advanced report about the situation.

Currently, the police are investigating the details of the mob fight and the punishment for the students are also planned to be discussed.
