VIXX's Ken has been embroiled in a cursing controversy.

On May 24, VIXX uploaded a preview of a special video for their 5th anniversary. The video, titled '2017 VIXX Company', was however soon taken down. People had noticed that Ken had written curses on his sketchbook during broadcast. It read, "You f*cking b*stard" and "Why are you hitting me, f*cking b*tch".

While people have no issue with the members cursing when among one another, many believe it was completely inappropriate while he knew cameras were rolling and filming.

Jellyfish Entertainment issued an apology, saying, "Inappropriate words were aired on 'VIXX Company'. We are sorry about causing a controversy. In any kind of situation, inappropriate words are wrong. We have deleted the clip in question, and will be taking action so the video does not spread."

This is far from new for Starlights seeing as during vixxdiary Ken literally rattled off all the English words he knew which were almost all swear words. Idols curse, idols drink, idols smoke idols are sort of ya know...normal people in that respect too.

Starlights really don't care who curses lol

He curses the most out of the group without wrong intentions, nothing wrong with cursing. the fact that it's a controversy surrounding Ken is making me laugh.

A lot of people curse and this wasn't on an official broadcast so I don't really care. Ken's a strange person (and I mean this in a good way) with a different kind of humor. This doesn't surprise me and I'm not even a Starlight; I'm pretty sure Starlights don't care either *shrugs* Aaannd life goes on ^^

can kpop idols stop apologizing for ever little freaking things , american idols do worst then cursing in public yet they still be popular , I don't know why kpop idols give fuck , if they make good music it will sell , no need to create the idol image BS

the difference is in culture i guess.... like westerner can call their mom, dad, stepmom, or stepdad by their name... you don't see that in asian...

The US and Korea are reallyy 2 different worlds, look at Produce 101! In Korea, they care about the whole package, the entire image including manners and scandals whereas in the US they're more forgiving about that stuff

Western celebs: rape a child (Roman Polanski), murder, do drugs, rape, beat women, and its all forgiven. Korean celebs: Forget the name of a historical figure, wave a flag, accidentally post a wrong flag, write a curse word, date
