Red Velvet's Seulgi and Jeon So Mi confirmed for KBS girl group variety show

Red Velvet's Seulgi and Jeon So Mi have been confirmed for the new KBS girl group variety show.

'Idol Drama Operation Team' will feature girl groups making their own drama together, telling the story of their own growth and survival as a girl group member in the entertainment industry.

An insider revealed, "The members will participate in working on the script as well as finishing up the drama. That process will be shown in the variety show. When the script is finished, they'll be acting out their own script, so it'll complete their growth story. The script production will be shown as a variety show and the completed product will be shown as a drama."

KBS is currently gathering girl group members, and the show is aiming to air in May.

At this rate Somi may never need to be in a girl group... she is becoming a superstar all by herself. Just glad JYP is keeping her busy on TV... not only for her, but for us. She is an entertainment powerhouse.

He has no choice... Somi is a jewel that keeps getting polished and most of the polishing she does herself... so if she stays stagnant at JYP she might get the notion of leaving and everybody knows what kind of loss that would be to JYP...
