A new kind of survival variety show, this time dealing with idols who are just starting out in acting, is currently in the works!
Production company iHQ said, "We are producing a program to seek out new age acting-idols, called 'I Am The Actor'." It's been revealed that idols currently confirmed for the show include AOA's Chanmi, Nine Muses's Keumjo, Mad Town's Jota, KNK's Seungjun, VICTON's Soobin, MYTEEN's Song Yoo Bin, April's Naeun, and Momoland's Nancy. The MCs will be Tak Jae Hoon and Jo Woo Jong.
The format of the show will follow a ranking system, with the cast carrying out acting competitions on a given stage. The final winner will be cast for a new drama produced by iHQ.
'I Am The Actor' will begin airing on April 11 at 6PM KST, on K STAR. What do you think of the concept?
