Back in 2014, Hwayobi filed a lawsuit against Lion Media for fraud�with private documents related to an investment contract that cost 1 billion KRW�(approximately $964,000 USD).�
On February 14, the first trial took place. According to the judge, "The defendant included highly unfair clauses in the investment contract without Hwayobi's agreement. However, the defendant continues to deny his crimes and does not show signs of reflection. He is also unable to receive forgiveness from Hwayobi."

As a result, CEO Park�of Lion Media is given 6 months of penal servitude, 2 years of probation, and 200 hours of community service.�
A second trial is expected to take place as CEO Park continues to deny the accusations.�
