Actress Moon Geun Young is now in recovery following multiple surgeries for compartment syndrome.
On February 7, Namoo Actors let fans know Moon Geun Young was currently out of the hospital following her third round of surgery, and showings of the play 'Romeo and Juliet', in which she stars as Juliet, in Daegu and Andong have been canceled.
The label stated, "Moon Geun Young has received her third surgery today and is in recovery. Thankfully, the prognosis looks good, and as it's possible she might need another surgery, the Daegu and Andong showings of 'Romeo and Juliet' have been canceled after multiple meetings with the producers. We sincerely apologize to the awaiting audience and everyone associated with the play who are inconvenienced. We ask for your understanding."
As previously reported, Moon Geun Young visited the hospital after experiencing severe pain in her right arm on February 1 and was diagnosed with compartment syndrome. The condition is caused by pressure buildup from internal bleeding or swelling of tissues, decreasing blood flow and depriving muscles and nerves of needed nourishment.
Hopefully, Moon Geun Young fully recovers soon.
