The tickets to TWICE's first concert have sold out in just 40 minutes!
Tickets officially went on sale on January 20 through Interpark. Numerous fans went on the site as soon as ticket sales opened up, and all the seatings from standing to reserved were sold out in just 40 minutes.
With their overseas tour to shortly follow after, the girls will be holding their first concert next month from February 17-19 at Seoul Olympic Park entitled, 'TWICE 1st TOUR 'TWICELAND'- THE OPENING.

Twice is on the rise to the top and will probably stay there for next 5 years or so if nothing goes wrong with them. haters will make no difference as long as the number of supporters remain in a steadily reasonable number that is sufficient enough to support Twice (all kinds of activities). The more it is, the better it will be. at this stage, haters simply make no impact on them. it really doesn't matter haters like it or not. what always matters is the number of supporters. this is a fact not just for Twice but any other idols/groups as well. my guess is ONCE don't even have to worry about haters at all.

In Kpop industry, idols/groups (both girl/boy), come fast and go fast. approximately a decade is probably the longest period of time an idol/group can hold. by then, their peak (popularity) may slowly go down. it doesn't mean they are no good, in fact they may even get better. however their generation of fans may not stay with them that long. they are still good but their fans are just not there to give them that kind of support that have been given. soon next idols/groups/fans will come along to take their places. that's another generation of idols/groups and fans, they always go hand in hand. this is how K(pop) music goes just as any other pop music industry.

why people (any party) brag about selling out concert tickets in xxx time. the reason is simple, it means the concert holder is popular and the tickets are in high demand. why tickets is being sold out so quickly, there are basically 2 factors.1, the concert holder is so popular, their fans, concert goers and ticket re-sellers will rush to get as many tickets as they can before it become unavailable.2, the size of the concert, for instance, tickets for a size of a 3000 seats concert sold out in 5 minutes is totally different from tickets for a size of 50000 seats concerts sold out in 2 days. the size doesn't matter. you tell me who is more popular.there is no rule or whatsoever for who and when should hold a concert regardless of being a rookie or a veteran. holding a concert is not about being out there for just a year or less or been there for a decade or more. this is all about popularity and how many attendants that want to go. rookie or veteran make no difference.

Why are people criticizing the fact that Twice is opening a concert at such early stage? I have seen other young groups doing concert and no one said anything. These people just dislike Twice in whatever they do...

love them or hate them; this girls always shine, a lot of salt, but it's nothing compared to all those good things that are happening to these girls. that's why people can't get over the fact that a girl group with '''''no talent''''' did in less a year much more that their faves in 5 years.

Here is reason why I think TWICE will be the biggest act out of Kpop 1. Unlike other Kpop, each member is well represented and focused upon. For example, Tzuyu is very popular w/o having to say much. I call her silent assassin. I can tell she is talented. 3 Japanese girls: Mina, Sana and Momo are very well trained and their talents show. Each girl possess unique charm about them that TWICE can not afford to be without. Mina is sexy and seductive; Sana is funny and likable; and Mono is powerful and childish. Their Korean is beyond excellent! Speaking of charm, how about Jeong Yeon? Her short hair is such a smash! Very attractive and even sexy. Two rappers, Dahyun and Chae Young, each bring strong vocals and nice smile. Nayeon has the most skill in my opinion. She sings and dances with such an ease that no wonder JYP picked her. She is so smooth and has natural talent and a beauty. Big plus for the group. A natural leader; an anchor of the group on the stage.Speaking of leadership. how about Jihyo? she has that determination in her eyes that no one can deny. You can see why others chose her to be their leader. She is a total package: she can sing, dance and talk. Her eyes are one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen for a long time. 2. They seem to have knack for picking the right songs at the right time. You have to give lots of credit to Black-eyed Pilseung for writing excellent songs but these girls were able to interpret them like nobody-else could and that takes certain talents. Between the song writers and singers there has to be a chemistry and aforementioned talent is the reason for their success.3. They are more free-spirit then say Girls Generation. I mean GG was/is a very talented group but I always felt that something was holding them up. I don't have that same uneasiness about TWICE. Maybe it has to do with JYP's style or maybe it is a natural progression in the Kpop. I am not sure but whatever it is, it is working for TWICE.4. Finally, TWICE has that unique style of their own. It is close to GG's and yet it is powerful enough to be close to 2NE1's. Yes, they are soft and powerful that can resonate with more people. No wonder they have the strongest branding power. I just hope JYP takes a good care of them!

I found some hate comments, I'm just asking.. Why you hate them so much? I mean one of them is jealousy.. They got something you can't have? Maybe you should find the reason why you hate them so much.. If you don't enjoy their success or their songs or their appearance, don't you just need to ignore them? You spent so much energy on them mean you actually pay attention to them..

Congrats to Twice, i like them, but 40 minutes is a long time actually when othres groups and even kpop idol~artists sell out in less minutes, even in just 1 minute.
