The summer special of '2 Days & 1 Night' featuring DAY6 captured weekend viewers by ranking No. 1 in its time slot.
The episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show '2 Days & 1 Night' Season 4, which aired on the 24th, showed the beginning of the special “Welcome to the Real Variety Show!” filmed in Donghae and Samcheok, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province.

According to Nielsen Korea, the broadcast recorded a nationwide rating of 6.0%, securing the No. 1 spot in its time slot. The highlight came during the final mission for lunch, where DAY6’s Dowoon and Sungjin swapped places and Kim Jong Min even resorted to breaking the rules in a thrilling showdown, driving viewership to a peak of 9.1%.
DAY6 appeared on the show as a full group for the first time, surprising the cast with a live performance of “Time of Our Life.” They split into teams with the cast for missions, including a luge quiz race, snack money challenges, and beach games. Dowoon’s standout performance in the final beach ball match earned his team victory and himself the title of “victory fairy.”
Despite their efforts, DAY6 admitted the grueling pace left them drained, joking about feeling like they were back in training camp. The episode ended with both teams tied in meal tickets, setting up suspense for the next challenge.
'2 Days & 1 Night' Season 4 airs Sundays at 6:10 p.m. on KBS 2TV.
