Rapper Verbal Jint's label Brand New Music has announced plans for him to return to the music scene in 2017.

Verbal Jint received a DUI back in June of 2016 and decided to put a halt to all of his activities after leaving a lengthy letter of reflection on his Instagram about the incident. He most recently participated in Brand New Music's year-end family concert on December 30, taking a step closer to his return.
Brand New Music stated, "Verbal Jint is currently busy working on new music. He's planning on releasing music this February. No specific format has been determined."
