No schedule changes are being made to 'Running Man' fan meeting tour.

From January to March, members of 'Running Man' are scheduled to travel 2 cities each month to meet their loving fans in Asia. Despite the recent controversies surrounding Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook's departure that ultimately led to the end of 'Running Man', the fan meeting tour will still take place with no changes. However, Gary and Yoo Jae Suk are unable to attend due to schedule conflicts.

the lead PD in the SBS variety team, the one who use the power to fire KJK and SJH.

k_kid melodysaranghae Tuesday, December 20, 2016

He's the Chief PD who single-handedly ruined RM.

Okay. Now I believe there's been some serious miscommunication somewhere. Did they really pre-schedule fan meetings Jan-Mar 2017 knowing Gary and YJS couldn't attend (didn't check their schedules?) and then fire KJK and SJH in December 2016? That would have left only LKS, Haha and JSJ to go to the fan meets. Just 3 people to carry it all by themselves. Unless they believed that KJK and SJH would still do it after being fired? Seriously? Did somebody actually believe that? The question and answer sessions are going to be interesting.

Hyungshi yeahkpop16 Tuesday, December 20, 2016

KJK and SJH will be in attendance they already said they are committed to finish whatever they have agreed on which includes these events.

tankor yeahkpop16 Tuesday, December 20, 2016

For YJS it is understandable he has 2 other weekly program so being buzy is a given. For Gary he may be busy with a new album

yeahkpop16 Hyungshi Tuesday, December 20, 2016

I know. I'm just saying that somebody at SBS did not consider everything that would be affected before pulling the trigger and firing KJK and SJH. Even if SBS's plan worked and the other members didn't revolt, there'd only be 3 people left to go to the fan meeting. It's only because the other members revolted and convinced KJK and SJH to close out the show for the fans that they're going to be there at all.

that person to blame is Chief Producer #FireGongHeeChul

honestly i bet they'll come out with a successor to RM, so long as JaeSuk is willing to do another show after it ends.  it might not be RM, but i bet there will be something somewhat similar, like a spiritual successor to it.  there are so many crappy variety show concepts they come out with, so many failures, and they have to know there is a audience out there with guaranteed fans and a lot more new fans with a physically active game show concept.  i'd be really surprised if there wasnt if JaeSuk is willing...i enjoyed RM but i'm not all that pressed its ending.

its hard to know what will be a hit these days, many hit variety shows started out with low ratings also, so its hard to say that a new show is going to be a hit or failure beside on the ratings of the early episodes. trying to create something similar, usually brings about failure as viewers want to see something new. Already programs based on Food and Children are already seeing declining popularity compared to a few years ago. its must be hard to think of a new show with the potential of hitting 10 years down the road. Weekly Idol's popularity was a unexpected one, just as Ask Me Anything.

yeah but remember when FO ended? everyone was like OH NOES!! then RM came along, ironically with hyori. i just think the cast is there and available for a PD to pick up(IF jae suk wants to do it since he must be tired by now). the RM audience even if its only a low ratings one has nothing to fill that void. and a new variation of Xman/FO/RM concept with the same principal players is IMO a no brainer for at least moderate initial success. i'm not saying exactly like RM btw, maybe even a hybrid of RM/FO, or Xman/RM, but something different enough where its refreshing with proven popular/funny hosts. i truly believe something new will come IF Jaesuk is willing.

smokeee Winston Tuesday, December 20, 2016

i agree and yeah it HAS to be different enough to be fresh for the audience, otherwise it just becomes a RM clone that was declining in ratings. i think the audience would gobble up something new with a fresh twist on similar RM/FO/xman concepts, and at the same time being its own unique show from them to attract new people, and reinvigorate existing fans of those. look at kshowonline, there are so many crappy variety shows, even KJK/Sejong's show was a utter disaster and it lasted like 12 episodes.

pricklyash1 smokeee Tuesday, December 20, 2016

why should Jaesuk come out with a runningman 2 if he didn't have love for runningman original.

ACtually while the Talent for Sale program was not a hit, it did have a positive effect on Sejung, since the song by Zico was composed in part due to the show, as a talent for sale, by Zico, and that episode resulted in the song "Flower Road" being composed, even though it was half made on the show, it eventually become Sejung's solo debut and made her the probably fastest solo singer to debut and win #1 in a music show.
